Hi, I’m Ron Saltmarsh, a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. And my biggest joy, what I believe I was put
here to do, is create beauty in the world and share it with others. I believe growing things speak to your soul and the souls of those who may want to buy your home someday. I believe a garden should be a peaceful sanctuary that invites you to turn off your phone, putter aimlessly, and get lost for hours at a time. Before my career in gardening I was an award-winning advertising writer. I have a couple of boxes of gold Clios and other statues and certificates in my attic somewhere. I’ve worked all over the country and parts of Europe. When I’m not designing, I love playing classical music on the piano. I bought a dilapidated 1927 Steinway baby grand at auction and restored it to its former satiny glory. Having the vision to look beyond the surface and see potential seems to be a theme in my life.
